How to Recover After Taking
Antibiotic Medication
Antibiotics can be great when we are really sick. However, them do
cause aftereffects because they kill off both good and bad bacteria
all over the body. This effect can be shown the most in the
digestive tract, because most (80%+) of our immunity is housed in
the gut or stomach area. Knowing this, its important to stop
potential long term digestive tract problems like bad bacteria
flourishing both during after taking a course of antibiotics. These
"baddies" could be Clostridia difficile (C.
diff. for short), Candida albicans (yeast), or H.
pylori. Prevent these from taking over after a course of
antibiotics by feeding our gut flora and improving the micro biome
in our digestive tract. Specific methods are given through dietary
changes from a functional medicine and nutrition practitioner,
Diana Sproul of Transform Health.
